The Port & Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria has opened applications for direct membership into its professional body, targeting practitioners and stakeholders in the port and terminal operations sector.
The Academy, which focuses on research, development, and innovation in port and terminal management, said the membership drive is aimed at professionalising careers and raising standards across the industry.
According to a press statement issued and signed by the Rector of the academy, Prof. Babatubde Samuel, interested individuals can apply under four categories: Associates, Full Members, Research Fellows, and Honourary Fellows.
The programme, prof. Samuel said, is open to professionals and practitioners currently working in port and terminal operations and management.
“Induction has been scheduled for 20th May, 2026, at 24, Burma Road, Apapa, Lagos,” the Academy stated.
The initiative is positioned as a “Golden Opportunity” for industry players to gain formal recognition, upgrade their professional standing, and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s maritime and logistics sector.
For enquiries and further information, prospective applicants can contact the Director of Membership at the Academy’s office on 24, Burma Road, Apapa, Lagos.
The Academy said the move aligns with its mandate of redefining professionalism and excellence in the port and terminal industries.
