Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will attend the Maritime Media Merit Awards on March 30, 2026, at Oriental Hotels, Lagos. The event, organized by Maritime Media Limited, publishers of Shipping World Magazine, will honor excellence and professionalism in Nigeria’s maritime industry.
Maritime Media Limited’s CEO, Elder Asu Beks, says preparations are underway to ensure a seamless ceremony. The awards aim to recognize outstanding contributions to the sector. Local Organising Committee Chairman, Olayiwola Shittu, confirms the investiture ceremony will take place on the same day.
Jonathan’s presence is expected to underscore the maritime sector’s importance to national development, adding prestige to the occasion.
