Labour Party candidate for Aniocha/Oshimili North & South Federal Constituency, Tessy Ngozi Okeze, has intensified grassroots consultations and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The LP hopeful says her name, Tessy Ngozi Okeze, represents more than an identity — it stands for a movement and renewed hope for her people.
“I am not in politics for selfish gain or self-enrichment, but to represent the interests of the downtrodden, the voiceless, and the grassroots people of my constituency,” she stated.
In a recent post on her Facebook page, Okeze wrote:
_“I, Tessy Ngozi Okeze. A woman of strength, purpose, and vision. Built through education… Driven by passion… Focused on impact.”_
Okeze holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Lagos State University and another degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos, UNILAG.
She assured voters and her supporters that as a devoted mother, caring sister, and loving friend, she is bringing “a new face of possibilities, responsibility, and progress” to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili North & South in 2027.

Describing herself as a thoroughbred grassroots politician, Okeze pledged quality and purposeful leadership if elected.
Speaking further to _News Emperor_ on her political plans and academic background, Tessy noted that her educational journey extends beyond academia into entrepreneurship.
“My academic journey is further enriched with a Diploma in French from the University of Benin, UNIBEN. I also hold a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry and a Diploma in Nursing and Patient Care,” she said.
The versatile politician added that she is also a certified shoemaker and product manufacturer.
“Yes, I earned a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry, and a Diploma in Nursing and Patient Care. I am as well a certified professional shoemaker and a certified product manufacturer,” Okeze told _News Emperor_.
She assured her constituents that, if elected in 2027, she will deliver quality representation.
