Blue House, one of the four houses of Mauryn Green Schools and winner of their just-concluded inter-house sports festival, has been commended for emerging as the overall winner.

The commendation came from the Blue House patron (Lord), Chief Lucky Nnadozie (Ezeakonaobi), while speaking at the end of the 2026 inter-house sports of the school held at the Salvation Army Mini Stadium ground, Magbon Badagry area of Lagos, on Friday, April 17, 2026.

According to Chief Nnadozie, “This is a victory well deserved.” He made this declaration while speaking in an interview with _News Emperor_ immediately after the occasion.

“My name is Chief Lucky Nnadozie, popularly called Ezeakonaobi, the Chief Executive Officer of Portable Cool Garden, Magbon. I am one of the House patrons, and not only that, my children are still schooling here,” he told _News Emperor_.

On how he felt about the occasion, Chief Nnadozie said he was very impressed by the successful nature of the event.

“I am impressed because of how the event was packaged. It was a real success. The level of its organisation was fantastic.

“What we are seeing today is beyond expectations. In fact, if they, the school, continue like this, the sky will be the limit,” he maintained.

Commenting on the situation in an era where private schools no longer have enough space to allow students to enjoy physical education like sports, Mr. Nnadozie called on the government to look into it and come to their rescue, insisting that government can come in to support private school owners.

“It is very disappointing that there are some schools in some areas where there is not enough space to provide facilities, mostly sports facilities, for the benefit of the students. Government can come and provide special places for children to exercise themselves. Because this is what makes them happy. If you can see today, the students are very excited, including their parents, some of whom also participated in the sports,” the Portable Cool Garden boss pleaded.

The entrepreneur and business tycoon, said he is a philanthropist continued: “They, our children, are future leaders. So, whatever we are doing, we should provide a way that will make them feel happy. So, I still want to appeal to the government to see what they can do to support private school owners by siting such sports facilities where students can, from time to time, freely go and exercise themselves, as that also is part of educating our youths, our future leaders,” Nnadozie urged the government.

For the management of Mauryn Green Schools, he said: “I want to appreciate them because of the way they are taking care of our children. You know, it is not easy. The proprietress, Mrs. Adasa, has been trying. I want to use this medium to commend her and the management staff for their good works,” he concluded.
