As electorates are worming up for Saturday’s 11th March, 2023 Governorship, State House of Assembly elections, members of Labour Party (LP), Badagry Olarunda area has called on their members not to be intimidated by anybody’s presence, rather they should come out enmass to vote for Comrade Ajayi Olarunwaju who is contesting for Badagry Constituency 2 in the forthcoming election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Constituency 1, they were also asked to vote for Ashafa Okoya, who is currently of the All Progressive Congress (APC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a member of the party, Efe Omoyah in his social media posts recently, “I know some of you would have been intimated with the recent update of a purportedly misguided new list for LP state assembly candidates which excluded my name just 6 days to the state governorship elections coming up on Saturday 11th, most especially those of you I met at the state secretariat yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He however, reminded the party faithful that they should hurt everything about campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In the light of the above, I hereby halt all campaign programs, meetings, consultations, visits to anyone or group across the Badagry constituency 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Omoyah thanked the LP members, mostly the Badagry Olarunda zone for the support given to him before the removal of his name at the last minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I also use this medium to thank everyone for the zeal and energy brought forth here to support my vision for Badagry constituency 2, and will like my supporters, encouragers too to remain calm, resolute and keep working for the Party,”he assured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the new candidate, he said:
“Please note that your new Candidate for constituency 2 is Ajani Olanrewaju. Let’s vote for him in the forthcoming Governorship and State House of Assembly elections as he will be contesting for Badagry Constituency 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his WhatsApp write-up, he wrote:
“While for constituency 1 is Ashafa Okoya (a current APC member\/ market racketeer in Badagry) look for him to come and run campaign for LP o.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since this is what the party and our Gov. Candidate wants who are my?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
