{"id":317,"date":"2023-02-19T20:18:46","date_gmt":"2023-02-19T20:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/?p=317"},"modified":"2023-02-19T20:18:46","modified_gmt":"2023-02-19T20:18:46","slug":"nimasa-plays-big-brother-role-to-maritime-institution-in-sao-tome-sao-tome-and-principe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/nimasa-plays-big-brother-role-to-maritime-institution-in-sao-tome-sao-tome-and-principe\/","title":{"rendered":"NIMASA PLAYS BIG BROTHER ROLE TO MARITIME INSTITUTION IN SAO TOME S\u00c3O TOM\u00c9 AND PR\u00cdNCIPE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Ambrose Obioma Okehi (News Emperor)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"707\" height=\"434\" src=\"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/images-6-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/images-6-2.jpeg 707w, https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/images-6-2-300x184.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 707px) 100vw, 707px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to mantian the big brotherly love and role in Africa in general and in the maritime sector in particular, the Management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has demonstrated that by providing technical support to the Instituto Marito e Portuaruo IMAP in S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9 and Pr\u00edncipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Director General of NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh OFR disclosed this while making the presentation at an event in S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9, with the Nigerian Ambassador to S\u00e3o Tom\u00e9, Ambassador Gambo Hamza in attendance, noted that the Federal Government of Nigeria is committed to regional maritime development premised on cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NIMASA, who was represented by the Agency\u2019s Director of Special Duties, Mr. Isichei Osamgbi, said that it has become imperative for African countries particularly in the Gulf of Guinea to help one another to ensure proper harnessing of the regional maritime potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRecently, it has become very pertinent for African countries to continue to collaborate and strengthen their relationships;
