He said the milestone reflects the Command\u2019s commitment to revenue generation, trade facilitation, and enforcement of government fiscal policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom January to April 2026, the Command generated a total revenue of \u20a6258,204,841,355.66,\u201d Alkali stated. \u201cThis represents an unprecedented revenue collection in the history of the Command.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He attributed the feat to the dedication of officers and stronger compliance by stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>The Command also recorded significant anti-smuggling successes within the same period. In February 2026, officers intercepted a 40-foot container falsely declared as plumbing materials. The container had a Duty Paid Value of \u20a6185,220,000.00. Examination revealed that the smugglers had altered the original container number and replaced it with a fake one in an attempt to remove it from the port without paying duty.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate operation that same month, the Command intercepted nine 40-foot containers laden with bales of fabrics, building and carpentry tools, cartons of LED lights, solar fans, and garments, among other items.
