The Port & Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria has opened applications for direct membership into its professional body, targeting practitioners and stakeholders in the port and terminal operations sector.<\/p>\n
The Academy, which focuses on research, development, and innovation in port and terminal management, said the membership drive is aimed at professionalising careers and raising standards across the industry.<\/p>\n
According to a press statement issued and signed by the Rector of the academy, Prof. Babatubde Samuel, interested individuals can apply under four categories: Associates, Full Members, Research Fellows, and Honourary Fellows. <\/p>\n
The programme, prof. Samuel said, is open to professionals and practitioners currently working in port and terminal operations and management.<\/p>\n
\u201cInduction has been scheduled for 20th May, 2026, at 24, Burma Road, Apapa, Lagos,\u201d the Academy stated.<\/p>\n
The initiative is positioned as a \u201cGolden Opportunity\u201d for industry players to gain formal recognition, upgrade their professional standing, and contribute to the growth of Nigeria\u2019s maritime and logistics sector.<\/p>\n
