It will bring together ministry officials, heads of maritime agencies, terminal operators, shipping companies, freight forwarders, regulators, and other key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>MARAN Caretaker Committee Chairman, Tunde Ayodele, said the reception will recognise the legacies of past presidents who built the association into a respected voice in the maritime sector. He added that it will also deepen collaboration between the media and industry players as the sector pursues reforms and modernisation.<\/p>\n<p>Planning Committee Chairman, Funso Olojo, disclosed that the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy and several agency heads have shown strong interest in attending. Corporate organisations and industry groups have also pledged support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis reception is a veritable platform to celebrate excellence, hard work, and quality leadership of MARAN\u2019s past leaders,\u201d Olojo said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMARAN, as the progenitor of beat associations in the maritime industry, has produced fine individuals who sacrificed time, energy, and intellect to make it the greatest beat association in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of these past leaders are currently doing well in their different endeavours. Some are excelling as Ministers of God, some in the legal profession, some have become media moguls and employers of labour, while others serve as political appointees.
