As regards the various issues of exploitation of traders and freight forwarding practitioners as we other port users in the Nigeria ports system, a group has come up with an innovation idea of checkmating these essesses within the nation’s seaports, a body called ‘Trade War Committee’ has been created and domiciled in the office of the founder of Nagaff to take responsibility.<\/p>\n
The new innovation, according those behind it, is in line with the concept of renewed hope agenda of Mr President under which currently against the level of exploitation in the Nigeria ports is most unfortunate. <\/p>\n
The initiators said:
\n“It becomes more worrisome when some of the appointees of Mr President are not really adding value to the project due to corruption.”<\/p>\n
On how the committee will function, the group said:
\n“This committee shall work closely with the Presidency as an independent body and eye witness account in the Nigeria ports. <\/p>\n
“Mr President really needed unadulterated facts with material evidence to enable his trade policies and appointments at the ports going forward against corruption act <\/p>\n
The members of trade wat committee,which came across every sectors of the economy, has DR INCREASE UCHE- as its CHAIRMAN; DR EUGENE NWEKE operating from the research department;
\nChief (Sir) PATRICK OGBO working with Chief NWEKE on the rersearch department<\/p>\n
Other members of the committee include
\nDR ARTHOR IGWILO, who will be the Secretary of the Trade War Committee, Dr. Fred Aduzie comes up as the opwrations man while
\nDr. Azubuike Ekweozor heads the logistics department.<\/p>\n
The women are not left out as Miss Hilda Ometere acts as the head of Special Duties:Dr. Clement Iwegbuna heads the media department; <\/p>\n
The group also appointed Mr. IkevhukwuvIwegbuna to the info Tech department as Mr. Kelven Mbachi world with Ikechukwu <\/p>\n
In the legal department, Barr Brain Onyiu
\nworks alongside with Barr. Peter Ofikwu, Barr. Lawrence
\nEzeudu, and Barr. Okwudili Alagbu, all as team of legal lumnaries for the committee.<\/p>\n
The highly respected academia, Prof Iyiola Oni serves as its Consultant, while Mr. Kingsley Anaroke, a media expert serves as the media consultant of the group.
