{"id":114,"date":"2023-01-28T17:48:10","date_gmt":"2023-01-28T17:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/?p=114"},"modified":"2023-01-28T17:48:10","modified_gmt":"2023-01-28T17:48:10","slug":"comptroller-sd-adamu-of-western-marine-hands-to-comptroller-salefu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/comptroller-sd-adamu-of-western-marine-hands-to-comptroller-salefu\/","title":{"rendered":"COMPTROLLER SD ADAMU OF WESTERN MARINE HANDS TO COMPTROLLER SALEFU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>By Ambrose Obioma Okehi (News Emperor)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"649\" height=\"472\" data-id=\"115\" src=\"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/images-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/images-2.jpeg 649w, https:\/\/newsemperormagazines.com.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/images-2-300x218.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 649px) 100vw, 649px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Comptroller S.D Adamu of the Western Marine Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS has on Wednesday 25 January 2023 officially handed over to the mantle of leadership to the incoming CAC, Comptroller Salefu at the command in Coconut, Ibefon, Apapa, Lagos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This took place during a mini handing and taking over ceremony held at the Command&#8217;s headquarters at Ibafon Apapa, between the acting Customs Area Controller (CAC),<br>Comptroller SD Adamu and the new CAC, Comptroller Salefu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Public Relations Officer, PRO of the command, Superintendent of Customs, SC MA Magagi, they (the outgoing and incoming Comptrollers) later called on Officers and men of the Command to join hands with him to ensure the Command continue to fulfill it&#8217;s mandate in an efficient and professional way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also urged Officers to see change in leadership as a constant phenomenon in their professional career and in life in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comptroller Salefu who has worked in various Customs formations and departments brings with him very rich and vast operational experience cutting across Revenue, Enforcement, Valuation, Classification, ICT, Intelligence and Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before his present appointment as the CAC Western Marine Command, Comptroller Salefu was Comptroller in the Department of Strategy, Research and Policy (SR&amp;P), NCS headquarters Abuja and was until his promotion to the rank of a Comptroller, the DC Compliance, Port Harcourt Area 2 Onne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CAC also asked Officers and Men of the Command to buckle up so as to improve on the existing tempo in anti-smuggling operation and to build upon the achievements of past administration to achieve an increased scorecard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CAC emphasized that character and professionalism are sinequanon to productivity, while further urging Officers and men of the Command to make discipline and compliance their watch word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comptroller Salefu concluded by thanking the Comptroller General and his Management team for the faith reposed in him and promised to execute his responsibilities effectively and efficiently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ambrose Obioma Okehi (News Emperor) Comptroller S.D Adamu of the Western Marine Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS has on Wednesday 25 January 2023 officially handed over to the mantle of leadership to the incoming CAC, Comptroller Salefu at the command in Coconut, Ibefon, Apapa, Lagos.
