The Maritime Arbitrators Association of Nigeria has sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected executive of the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria, led by President Oluyinka Onigbinde.
In a statement jointly signed by MAAN President Mrs. Jean Chiazor-Anishere and Secretary Mrs. Foluke Akinmoladun, MAAN welcomed the new leadership and said it looked forward to deepening collaboration between both associations in support of transparency, accountability and sustainable development in the maritime sector.
MAAN noted that it has enjoyed cordial relations with MARAN over time and expressed confidence that the new executive would strengthen the association’s role as a stakeholder platform for informed industry discourse.
The new MARAN executive, elected on 7 May 2026, includes Oluyinka Onigbinde as President, Sylvanus Obasi as Vice President, Fabian Anawo as Secretary, and four other officers.
MAAN wished the team a successful tenure and reaffirmed its commitment to working with MARAN on mutual professional and industry objectives.
