It was at Ikom Township Stadium last week end where Cross Riverians converged in multitude crowd of about over 1.5 million to overwhelmingly endose Governnor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu as Governnor for Cross River State and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term despite the economic hardship.
The supporters which was understood to be drawn across parties lines from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state chanting with banners bearing inscriptions ” Prince Is Coming Movement” accommpanied with all the Political Appointees, National Assembly Members, State Assemblies, Political Stakeholders and the Youths groups in support of ” Jagaban”of Africa for second term.
Speaking as the leader of the “Prince Is Coming Movement” the Chief of staff to Governnor Bassey Edet Otu’s administration, Chief Emmanuel Ironbar Declares that the “Renewed Hope agenda” and “Prince Is Coming Back Movement” is a marriage of necessity which calls for intensified door- to -door campaigns to reflects the resilience despite previous Political drawbacks, the movement is out to ensure deeper grassroot mobilization for 2027.
Also speaking is Senator William Eteng Jonas, the Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District commended the group for the Initiative of championing the re-election drive because President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governnor Bassey Edet Otu have both performed creditably, particularly in economics management and infrastructures renewal while pledgeing to ensure that he will mobilize support from his entire Central Senatorial District to record victory in 2027 .
Also speaking to Declares Support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governnor Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu for second term is Ambassador Sunny Abang , the Cross River State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda explained that Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration is on a “recovery path” for Nigeria not withstanding the global economic challenges.
On the current bitting increase on fuel crisis in the country where many pundits attributes to the bad policies of the President, but Chief Abang debunked the allegations and blame it on International factors and projects that prices of fuel would soon stabilize below #500 per litre while there would also be a corresponding drop in food cost in the country.
