NAGAFF Unveils Revamped 100% Compliance Team As Coordinator Promises Strict Compliance

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has unveiled a revamped 100% Compliance Team.

The National Coordinator of the team, Alhaji Tanko Ibrahim as the team’s leader is promising a stricter compliance to trade policies, procedures and operations.

The team’s coordinator, Alhaji equally announced the reboot during the official opening of a new office complex in Apapa, Lagos.

Tanko who spoke in Lagos while addressing the press also stated that his team had undergone a comprehensive review and is now ready to perform its duties. He thereafter assured stakeholders that the team would be digitalized and work closely with agencies like EFCC and ICPC to combat corruption.

On his own, the NAGAFF President, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, highlighted the team’s achievements since its inception, including improved regulatory compliance and reduced infractions.

NAGAFF informed that the aim of revamping the team is to strengthen collaboration with government agencies, promote ethical conduct, and enhance professionalism in the freight forwarding industry.

‎Earlier in his remarks, the Founder of NAGAFF, Dr Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam boasted of the willingness of NAGAFF leaders adding value to what they started through the compliance team,
describing 100% Compliance team as the driving force behind the association. He pleaded with those running the Compliance Team to must understand the limit of their position. “The saying ‘See something, say something’ is very observatory.”
